3 years in waiting -- 2022 Ratings Posted

So someone called me out and wants to know about ratings .... hmm To Be Continued as I try to decipher what the USTA has been doing, you know helping Intermountain (UT) dominate 4.0 Men's Tennis with all their 12 self rates bumped to 4.5, but hey the machine has won 3 straight National Titles, guess bragging rights are big in SLC.

Glad to know taking off 2022 League Year did not diminish anything.

Brandon Kiker I blame you if this goes sideways :)

**WINNERS of the NTRP Ratings Hate Me**

Got a daily double to go along with the first heading:

Head up to Jonesboro and once again

Gary J. and Alex A. get the old man bump to 5.0!! AGAIN!!! Who did you guys piss off??

Well done boys, well done, thought I was the only one who could piss off USTA.

4.5 to 5.0 (Poor Bastards, 2024 will be a better Year)

Special Note: Edson Abrao, sorry my man, you're still a stud welcome to 5.5 and the Pro Tour Lite; for those who do not know, Edson was a stud when he played at UALR.

No one else bumped up or down from 5.0 League, sorry Casey G., maybe not win so much and you can come back to dominating 4.5.

John Mak got the bump to 5.0 and appears as of now is stuck, but he may just not know where the appeal button is quite yet. How does it feel to be the "ONE"

Mr Jay Heflin got his appeal from 5.0 back to 4.5 to crush the  40's 4.5 League

Scott E. gets to keep his big FH at 4.5, hope you did not break a finger hitting the appeal button

William S. got his appeal from 5.0 to 4.5, interesting to win an appeal when you go 4-0 at Sectionals

Moving west and north caught Alex B. took one for the region and got the bump to 5.0

40 and over crowd, Yoshihisa F, sorry pal late in life bump 5.0

** interesting will the lefty out of Conway, work out the mouse clicker and appeal down to 4.5 for 2023, it has been 3 yrs since official last Computer Rating **

4.5 down to 4.0

Lanny L. takes his marathon matches back down to 4.0 and sets up for an interesting 8.0 MXD Season at the 40's, to bad Jay H. got appealed back to 4.5 from 5.0 to help out the Kikers x2

Josh K wore out the appeal button but go to go back to 4.0, even after only losing 1x at 4.0 all year with a couple of solid 4.5 results

Caleb T. also gets to bring his flat strokes back to 4.0 will be a tough out in 2023, when healthy

NEA: Matt E. apparently fluffed enough to get back down to 4.0 and restart another J'Boro 4.0 Superteam, but if you did not read above/up/towards the top. Think Lanny gotFrancis bumped to take over the Throne at 4.0  Hmmm......

4.0 to 4.5

Kyle F. gets to finally play with the big kids taking one on the chin and pushed 4.5, great 4.0 captain, but you are no Fowlkes or Freeman, welcome to the club

Brett T. welcome back to 4.5, not sure how you managed to get to 4.0 in the first place but welcome back to 4.5

NWA: Morten J. welcome to 4.5,  Rafael M. ditto, Steve S. ditto ditto

4.0's going Down:

Ryan O. taking his 2 handed game down to 3.5 for 2023, will be a tough out

The WTF!!! goes to Kevin L. under 40 but somehow over the past 5-10 yrs goes from a good 4.5 to now 3.5 in 2023!! Damn myself, Kiker, Miller and others over 40's need to get your plan.

As for the rest, I have NO F'n clue who you are, sorry if I missed you going up or down, but take a number and maybe next time will post about you.

So I do not get accused of being a sexist looking at some of the ladies:

One that stands out is Suzanne K. coming back down from 5.0 purgatory via "A" to 4.5

Jennifer F. apparently not ready for 4.5 yet, nice click of the appeal button

Sally S. managed to sneak back from the 5.0 purgatory to play 4.5 again in 2023

Annie T. welcome to 5.0, that college background made you too good for 4.5

Jennifer B. and Kelly T. welcome to 4.5, 8.0 mxd now more interesting;

Ladies never fear 3 others in the NWA .. no not the rap group ... join you in the ladies 4.5 Division

Elizabeth A., Ai-Chau N, and Lacey M. may the beatings continue on your rise up the NTRP Rankings.

Combo 2022 Finals

Sounds like once all the rain left Mobile and the courts dried off, AR Teams faired pretty darn well with a couple of teams winning Titles and others being the bridesmaids Winners: 8.5 40+ Men The ironman of joining teams and probably is the one player who keeps USTA Funded each and every year adds another trophy to his collection.  The old guys finished in a tie for 2nd after Round Robin Play going 3-1 with 4-0 NC holding the lead.  AR advanced by virtue of 10 wins to 9 wins for TN In the finals Mesaris and company got revenge on NC from their 2-1 Loss in RR Play Round Robin Match Finals Match Card: In my opinion line-ups for AR was not much stronger in the finals, they did manage to take the 2 MTB's to win it all.  NC played 2 of their same teams from the RR match and just got beat. Could make the case that Lee/JJ were a tad tougher team at #1, but KG/TC are no slouches either; BL/JG are a solid 8.5 team CONGRATS Guys well played!! 6.5 Ladies 18+ Congrats to Meek Captained Team

Combo Sectionals 2022 or is 2023 hmmm...

Well now that the gnashing of teeth or whining is starting to subside on the dreaded ratings day, guess what Mobile and their 60 cts is hopping with sandba.... I mean Sectional Combo Tournament.  A Thursday Start!?!? Guess they want to make sure no one misses SEC Games this weekend. No my idea of fun missing 3 days of work to play tennis for matches that do not count, but I hear the towels are nice 9.5 Combo No AR teams in Women's and the Men's team appears to be a no show, so just a 2 state race in each division, oh well who cares now 8.5 Combo Repping from AR at the 8.5 Level is the bionic captain Lee Mesaris and his team led by the consistent 5.0 Casey G. glad marriage and real life not slowing the kid down.  1st Match against MS: 2-1 win with Casey/Daniel winning at #1, Lee/Kyle (no longer the 4.0 King) at #3 Hendrix kid Kristin and his Partner lost to a solid team at #2 in 3 sets.  2nd Match: against SC: lost 2-1, Hendrix Kid and partner won at #2; The disc golfers took a
